Dangerous Adventures
Men were traveling. Along the way, they stopped with cannibals.
When they saw them at night, they began to rejoice, seized them all and imprisoned them in iron cages, two by two in each cage.
Night and day, at every moment, they gave them food. When they were very fat, they ate three.
One night when the cannibals were sleeping, one of the prisoners, who was advised, looked for a way out with his companions.
When he had made a hole where two men could come out, they all escaped.
The sound of the iron awakened the people who set off in pursuit of them with their lions and snakes. They took them all back, except two, among whom was the advised.
They managed to escape because, hearing the cannibals on their tracks, he had built a grass hut where they were hiding, so that no one saw them.
When their enemies were gone, they removed the grass and fell asleep. When he woke up, the wise man noticed that a lion had devoured his companion. He remained stunned and bewildered until he came out of the lion's den and fled.
He saw a tent in the distance, towards which he walked; he saw a woman there who said to him: "Be welcome and welcome. "
Then she invited him to sit on a mat, under which was hidden a hole. When the wise man was seated, the woman pulled the mat under it, and the man fell into a well.
He remained there until the arrival of the master of the tent, carrying two men whom he had slain. His wife told him what had happened with the wise man then added: "Go kill him too, he's fatter than them." "
But the prisoner grabbed the master of the house by his long braids and killed him.
Counteracting his voice, he asked the woman to bring him up. She obeyed, believing it to be her husband.
At the sight of the informed, she was seized with terror. This one forced him to deliver to him all that they had in fact of ornaments, money, ornaments, slaves, camels, sheep and sheep.
She gave him all of this and he was able to come back to his.
